Senior Analytics Engineer is a technical leader responsible for architecting and delivering complex, enterprise-grade BI and data solutions. You hold deep subject matter expertise in designing, creating, and managing the entire stack of analytical assets—including large-scale semantic models, data warehouses, lakehouses, and enterprise-level reporting solutions. You will lead initiatives with customers and internal stakeholders to shape project's vision from a raw idea into a concrete roadmap, partnering with architects, engineers, analysts, and administrators to ensure seamless performance from the backend to the final executive dashboard.
Your responsibilities:
Strategic Ideation & Scoping: Lead the initial discovery phase with clients and internal leadership, transforming ambiguous business requests into clear technical architectures and documented project requirements.
Asset Architecture: Architect and optimize core data assets within Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses), ensuring storage and partitioning strategies scale smoothly with massive data volumes.
Enterprise Semantic Modeling: Design complex, high-performance semantic models and enterprise modeling techniques, ensuring quick report response times.
Advanced Visualization & Reporting Artifacts: Design framework-driven, interactive Power BI reports, paginated reports, and analytics artifacts.
Data Enrichment & Engineering: Build highly efficient data processing pipelines using Fabric stack, ensuring data is enriched for downstream business intelligence.
Security, Governance & Lifecycle Management: Define and implement security frameworks for analytics assets. Own the release management lifecycle using Fabric Deployment Pipelines and Git integration to promote code cleanly through Dev, Test, and Prod.
Mentorship & Technical Advocacy: Act as the technical anchor for the data team, reviewing code, establishing data visualization and engineering best practices, and mentoring mid-level engineers.
What makes you a great fit:
Communication: Exceptional client-facing consulting skills with a proven track record of designing data stories that impact executive decision-making.
Technical Stack: High-level T-SQL, DAX, Power BI visualization design, and Python (PySpark). Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric's underlying architecture and UI optimization.
Experience: 5+ years of experience with end-to-end data projects from conception to visualization with Azure Data Factory/Power BI/Fabric stack.
Certifications: Microsoft Certification PL-300 and DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) is highly preferred. Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer nice to have.

Gross salary range:
3200 – 3400 EUR
