We are looking for a committed and detail-driven QA Engineer to strengthen our growing team in Riga. If you are passionate about software quality, eager in AI-assisted testing and ready to contribute to building reliable and high-performing digital solutions, you are our person. The position starts with a strong focus on manual testing and will evolve into a blended role that includes manual testing, selective test automation activities and the effective use of AI-powered tools to improve quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and create test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Participate in preparing test specifications and quality documentation.
- Execute system testing based on provided test plans.
- Perform QA reviews and contribute to technical refinement sessions.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and other QA team members, communicating issues clearly and effectively.
- Report bugs with adequate detail for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Conduct bug reviews and test reviews.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to support test design, test case generation, defect analysis, documentation and quality assurance activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation, AI-assisted testing approaches and continuous process improvement.
- Contribute to the adoption of AI-driven quality engineering practices within the team.
What makes you a great fit:
- Practical experience with manual testing activities.
- Familiarity with task and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Interest in AI technologies and willingness to leverage AI tools to enhance testing effectiveness and productivity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of AI application testing, including validation of AI-generated outputs, prompts, and quality assurance of AI-enabled solutions.
Nice to have:
- ISTQB certification.
- API testing experience (e.g., Insomnia or similar tools).

Gross salary range:
2000 – 2400 EUR
