Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET)
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Antonijas iela 17
Working Model: Hybrid
Working hours: 09:00-18:00
We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET) to join our Development & Engineering Studio.
This is a deeply hands-on, technical role: you will be the person the team turns to when deciding what technology to use and why, how a system should be architected, and how to resolve the hardest technical trade-offs. You are expected to operate independently from day one — making sound technical calls without close supervision — while also setting direction, guiding architecture, and growing the developers around you.
This role is for someone with a strong, current .NET/C# and Azure background who can go deep on technical nuance in a conversation, not just manage the people doing the work.
Your responsibilities:
- Make and own technology decisions — what we build with, how, and why — and be able to defend those decisions in technical depth.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade, reliable, and maintainable software using .NET and Microsoft Azure.
- Guide architectural decisions and maintain system consistency across the team's solutions.
- Set and communicate clear technical direction for the team, and align priorities with other Tech Leads.
- Take accountability for technical quality, risk, and technical debt.
- Lead complex technical problem-solving and prevent issues before they become risks.
- Promote strong engineering practices, standards, and testing strategies.
- Enable team members to grow and take ownership through mentoring and hands-on technical guidance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on product roadmap, vision, and direction.
- Foster a collaborative, aligned team environment.
What makes you a great fit:
- Extensive, hands-on software development experience with C# and .NET, including recent production experience — this isn't a role for someone who has moved away from writing and reviewing code.
- A proven track record of independently making and owning technology decisions (frameworks, architecture, tooling) on real projects.
- Expert-level system design and architecture skills, with a strong understanding of scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Ability to go deep on technical detail under scrutiny — you should be comfortable being challenged on why a specific technical choice is right.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and quickly take technical ownership, without requiring close day-to-day technical supervision.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to assess trade-offs between speed, risk, and long-term value.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills — but grounded in technical credibility, not general people management.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to have:
- Experience in cloud software business.
Our technology stack:
Backend
- C#, .NET / .NET Core
Frontend
- Angular, React, TypeScript
Cloud & DevOps
- Azure App Service, Azure Stack
- Azure Key Vault
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD
Data
- Microsoft SQL Server
Engineering Practices
- SOLID principles and clean code
- Unit and integration testing
- Secure development practices
- Agile delivery
Benefits:
- An international, culture-driven and welcoming environment.
- A hybrid working model — after your probation period and depending on job specifics, flexibility based on business needs.
- Training and growth opportunities, including company-sponsored certifications and learning tailored to your career goals.
- Company events and an active social life.
- Covered telephone expenses (after probation).
- A modern, cozy office in the heart of Riga at Antonijas iela 17 (Magdalena's Quarter), with free parking.
- Gym membership with a symbolic co-payment.
- Company-covered health insurance starting from your first day.
Gross salary range:
4800 – 5600 EUR
