Valters Galss has been part of Atea Global Services for more than a decade. Starting his career as a Software Asset Management Consultant, he has progressed into senior leadership roles, building a strong foundation in IT service delivery, license management, and organisational development. 

As a leader with a strong focus on growth and innovation, Valters has progressed from an individual contributor to leading multiple teams and business functions. He has been instrumental in developing key business capabilities such as Software Asset Management, as well as establishing a Center of Excellence bringing together Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Robotic Process Automation. These capabilities have since evolved into group-level functions supporting broader transformation across Atea Group. 

Since 2024, Valters serves as General Manager of Atea Business Services Center in Riga, where he leads a multi-functional organisation and drives its development as an automation-driven, value-focused delivery centre. His focus is on scaling capabilities, enabling digital transformation, and building a future-ready organisation.
