Valters Galss has over 11 years of experience in the IT industry, including approximately 10 years in leadership roles. He began his career as a Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant, building a strong foundation in IT service delivery and license management.

Over the years, Valters progressed from an individual contributor to leading multiple teams, demonstrating a strong growth trajectory from a junior role to senior leadership within Atea. He later led the Software Asset Management function, where he was responsible for the Atea License Manager solution — a white-labeled version of Snow License Manager used across the Atea Group.

As a Business Area Manager, Valters established and led a Center of Excellence, bringing together Business Intelligence & Data Analytics and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) capabilities. These teams have since scaled into Atea Group-level functions, supporting broader transformation across the organization.

Since 2024, Valters serves as General Manager of Atea Business Services Center in Riga, where he leads a multi-functional organization and drives its transformation into an automation-driven, value-focused delivery center. His focus is on scaling capabilities, enabling digital transformation, and building a future-ready organization.
