Despite being a large global entity, we've managed to maintain a close-knit team and local vibe within our organization. In Riga office alone, we are a diverse team of over 500 professionals that bring passion to their work every day, being united in our joint mission to Build The Future With IT.

Growing our team has been both the hardest and the coolest thing I’ve done here – who would've thought we'd have a creative power house working across Atea all those years ago? My advice to anyone joining Atea? Just go for it! Jump in and go for it!"

“Having started my career as a recruiter, I understand firsthand the significance of cultural fit between a candidate and the company. Today, my role involves supporting our employees' journey, guiding them in their interactions with the company and its management. Ten years later, I stand as a testament to the remarkable development achievable within a single workplace when it aligns with one's ambitions and values. Supported by my managers and the company, I've had the privilege of participating in 18 training courses over the past eight years. These experiences have been instrumental in propelling me to where I am today,” says Sandis.

 

“The past nine years with Atea have been incredibly fulfilling in my career journey. I value the excellent work-life balance that is part of our company culture, which enabled me to pursue a Master's degree while working full-time. I've also had the chance to enhance my skills through diverse training opportunities and encountered stimulating professional challenges, exploring different roles to find my perfect fit. In my current position, I believe I can leverage my full potential by blending technical IT tasks with managerial duties,” says Aleksandrs. 

 

“Even after six years with team Atea I'm still deeply passionate about my job and workplace. Atea really is the place to be for me. Here, I can fully express myself not only in my daily tasks but also in various activities the company provides. I've even begun learning Norwegian. Collaborating with partners worldwide and colleagues in the Nordics allows me to explore new horizons every day. For me, that's the key to coming to work with a smile,” says Aija.

 

“Atea is a people-oriented company, and I deeply respect that. I see it reflected in all the events and activities available for participation. For me, this is the place to be, as it hasn't felt like just a job but more like a lifestyle for quite some time now. And that's saying something, considering I only started my journey in IT four years ago, after switching careers from being a cook during the pandemic. It's been amazing, with so much support from everyone, including managers and coworkers,” says Arvis. 

"I get bored if things are too predictable. Luckily, my job keeps me on my toes. The projects I handle continually shift in type, focus, and scope. I also get to work with different people, and that helps me learn new things and stay adaptable, which is super important in the modern world," says Sandris.



“There are no secrets or industry tricks. It is all about tenacity and proactivity. Don’t wait for things to land in your lap. Do your part to land the position you want. Be a team player, learn new things, help others, and take on new challenges.
